ATTENDANCE

All students are expected to be in attendance on a daily basis unless there is an excused absence.  Notification must be made by the parent or legal guardian by telephone when a child is going to be absent.  When the child returns to school, written notification must be presented for the absence to be considered excused. 

All absences will be documented.  Without a written statement, the absence will be considered unexcused.  Three consecutive unexcused absences may result in the withdrawal of a child from the center.  All family vacations and/or emergencies must be communicated to the school immediately.  Two consecutive absences due to illness must be documented by a doctor’s statement.  An ill child will not be allowed to stay at the center.
